Maloma Colliery – In response to a call for help, Maloma has made a generous donation of desks and chairs valued at nearly E100,000 to Nkonjwa Primary School. The donation comes after the school publicly appealed for assistance due to a critical shortage of basic furniture. The new desks and chairs were delivered and officially handed over today, marking a significant improvement in the school’s infrastructure. This contribution directly addresses the pressing need for proper seating and workspaces, which had been affecting both comfort and the quality of learning.
More than just a material donation, the initiative represents a restoration of dignity, a boost in morale, and a reaffirmation of every learner’s right to a supportive educational environment. For Nkonjwa Primary, the new furniture means more than filled classrooms — it means filled hearts and renewed hope
The school community welcomed the contribution as a long-overdue solution to overcrowded, under-resourced classrooms. The improved learning environment is expected to foster greater focus, participation, and academic engagement among students.
With this act of goodwill, Maloma Colliery has not only responded to a practical need but has also reinforced its role in uplifting the future of Eswatini’s youth, one desk and chair at a time.
